A molar extraction probably isn't anybody's idea of a fun time. (Floss, people; it makes a difference long-term.) That said, my experience at Sunset Oral & Maxillofacial simply could not have been better. Every interaction with their staff, in the reception area and in the treatment room, was clear and kind. Dr. Ugalde is very personable - I bet he's a fun guy to be around off-duty - and extremely efficient and skilled. The procedure itself was painless and surprisingly brief. Dr. Ugalde called me at 8:15 p.m. (my appointment was 9:50 a.m.) to see how I was doing. Hold that thought. This is what professionalism is supposed to look like.

I needed an extraction and dental implant, and I very nervous. The amazing people here did everything to make the experience as tolerable as possible. It ended up being so much easier that I ever expected! Dr. Ugalde followed up with me in the evening following each procedure, just to make sure I was ok and didn't have any concerns. To say I am impressed is an understatement. Well done!!

BEST DENTAL SURGICAL EXPERIENCE EVER! Doctor Sharifi and nurse Antoinette truly provided the best care I've ever received. I was quite a nervous patient, and Doctor Sharifi answered all my questions fully, with compassion and respect. Our interactions were warm and personable. The extraction itself was absolutely painless. Great follow up. Five stars all around!
