I had a very positive experience with Dr. Gabel and his staff in Portland Oregon. I went to Dr. Gabel's looking for help to hide hair loss and scars from a prior surgery. He spent considerable time with me during the initial consultations to understand my objectives, to assess transplant viability and to discuss options. (Note there is a consultation fee for his time.) I decided to proceed with a no-shave FUE transplant and waited a few months to get into surgery.
Dr. Gabel’s office was very supportive throughout the entire process from pre-op preparation, the surgery itself and post-op care.

Phenomenal experience and results with Dr. Gabel and his staff. 6 months after the procedure and I couldn't be happier with the results! Staff is all incredibly kind and helpful and really made me feel welcome during any of my appointments and on the day of surgery.
Overall - yes it's expensive, yes you need to pay for your initial consultation - but you absolutely get what you pay for and you will get results with how thorough Dr. Gabel his staff are.
I really can't recommend this place enough. Don't go to Turkey. Go to Gabel.
