Staszak Physical Therapy & Wellness Center Physical Therapy

“I have had a lot of physical therapy. One day I will learn to pay better attention to what I am doing. I've never had a bad experience, but Staszak is easily the best.

Between the physical therapy itself and the pilates training that they somehow got my insurance to pay for, I've worked with a few different people here. Everybody has a different personality and approach, but it all comes together. They all have a clear understanding of the anatomy and physiology. They all check in with me to be sure we aren't exacerbating the problem, and listen to me carefully.

Also, everyone I've met here is simply delightful. I've recommended them to everyone. I don't know anyone going into PT right now and only one person has actually asked, so maybe I'm being obnoxious, but that is how great my experience has been.“

Tensegrity Physical Therapy Physical Therapy

“I am absolutely grateful for Tensegrity! I live in Portland and drive all the way to Eugene for my appointments—and it is worth every single mile.

From the moment you walk through the door, the front office team is welcoming, professional, and incredibly helpful. They have gone above and beyond to assist me with insurance questions, billing concerns, and scheduling. Navigating insurance can be stressful, but they always take the time to explain things clearly and help make the process as smooth as possible. Brisa has especially been helpful making me feel extra welcomed and supported!! Trina is also super helpful with processing my health insurance!! Of course Nicole and Katie compliment the front office at doing an amazing job!

I have worked with Sean Dorman, Luke, and John, and each of them has been exceptional. Their knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care for their clients set them apart. They take the time to listen, understand your concerns, and create a treatment plan that addresses the root cause rather than just the symptoms.

The entire team creates a supportive and positive environment, and I always leave feeling better than when I arrived. Their expertise, compassion, and commitment to patient care have made a significant difference in my health and quality of life.

If you’re looking for skilled practitioners who truly care about their patients and are supported by an outstanding administrative team, I cannot recommend Tensegrity highly enough. Thank you to Sean, Luke, John, and the entire staff for everything you do!“

Five Bodies Collective Physical Therapy

“I decided to give Thai massage a shot at Five Bodies Collective because I’ve heard it can offer longer-lasting benefits when done regularly compared to other massage techniques like Swedish. Thai massage involves more stretching of the body’s muscles during the massage, which I believe contributes to its effectiveness.

Now that I’ve been going for several months, I thought it was time to share my experience. On my first visit, I must admit that the building initially made me question whether I was at the right place when my GPS told me to turn into the parking lot. However, the sign on the parking lot confirmed it was correct, as it’s an older building from the 70s with a warehouse behind it, which is typical for this area of Eugene. Once inside, I quickly felt comfortable and knew I was in the right place. The air was filled with a pleasant incense scent, not too strong to be unpleasant or obnoxious, and the hanging curtains added to the Thai ambiance. Most of the time, they played rhythmic drums music in the background, which was soothing and relaxing, while other times, it was more relaxing meditation music with flutes.

When Tiffany, my massage therapist, first introduced herself, she asked me to remove my shoes and led me back to the massage area. The first thing she did was check my range of motion and assess how I was feeling in the areas where I mentioned the most discomfort. She also asked if any places needed to be avoided. This range of motion check is done regularly during follow-up visits to show the improvement over time and helps her determine the areas to focus on to improve.

Next, she asked if the heat on the mat was at an appropriate level. Since Thai massage is done fully clothed, I had worn a loose-fitting shirt and sweatpants, and I found the mat more comfortable than a traditional massage table, especially when it came to turning over.

Tiffany’s Thai massage technique lets her use her hands in new ways, getting even deeper into the muscles. But she always makes sure the pressure is just right. Sitting during the massage might seem a bit odd at first, like during my first one, but it’s actually super effective and has really helped with the pain in my legs. She also uses heated stones, which have given my upper and lower back lasting relief.

I’ve only had the pleasure of working with Tiffany, but I’ve heard from other staff that they’re all very careful to keep the pressure comfortable. Overall, I’m really happy with the results I’ve seen and can honestly say it’s made a noticeable difference in my daily life.“

Hansen Chiropractic Physical Therapy

“My family has been seeing Dr. Hansen for about 20 years now. If it wasn't for him standing by them through all their health problems, believing them when they say something was wrong, pointing them in the right direction to research their health problems when conventional Doctors failed them and helping with correct diagnosis, they would have been dead by now. With medical PTSD he is the only male doctor that we will let touch us and that's saying a lot. He uses many different treatments to treat our complex health issues. Please, do NOT retire for at least another 10 years!“
