“I purchased a DIY ductless package from the heat pump store several years ago. I had a rather complex install of a multi-head unit and was able to save a significant amount of money by doing it this way. The system has run flawlessly for going on 6 years now.Recently, I had them come out and assist in adding a third head to that system, as well as commissioning an additional system that I had acquired used.The tech, Todd, was able to get both tasks accomplished quickly.and correctly. I had been quoted and had agreed to a flat rate for the job, but he billed as time and materials, which saved me a few hundred dollars. That sort of integrity is rare and will have me recommending them to others for this sort of work.Apparently they do still offer the DIY package. If you are home improvement savvy, it's worth a look as it can save you a couple thousand dollars on a complex install. If the idea of punching holes in the side of your house, pulling electrical wire, running drains, etc is intimidating, it's probably not the project for you.“
