My family has been a customer of State Street Saw Shop for a number of years. There is a closer Stihl dealer but we trust this place above the others. We've brought chains in for sharpening, purchased new chains and other supplies, and have even purchased multiple chain saws here.The last purchase we made was because our medium-sized saw had a crack in the crank case. They offered to speak to the Stihl rep to see if such an unusual repair could be covered by the warranty, which was long-since over. Although the rep rejected the idea, State Street Saw Shop offered me a substantial discount on a new saw, which we gladly accepted.In addition to saws, they carry the full line of Stihl products, including weed eaters, trimmer, leaf blowers, and a full line of accessories and can order items they don't carry in inventory. This is our go-to shop for all our Stihl needs. It should be yours, too.

My leaf blower of forever finally retired late on a Thursday in the middle of a clean up. I had my eyes on a Stihl BR 800, and a good buddy recommended State Street Saw. I hustled down the to make it before they closed (hate doing that), but Grace and Nick were super friendly and eager to get me set up. Grace was incredibly efficient at getting the transaction handled while Nick ran me through the ins and outs of the new machine, which came with a full tank. Radtastic experience and will be shopping here from now on! Oh, this new leaf blower is fantabulous! Thanks State Street Saw!

The woman at the counter was very pleasant and thoroughly explained the details of leaving my lawnmower to be repaired. She advised it could be as long as 8 weeks before they could fix it. Luckily it was my backup mower, so that didn't bother me. Sure enough, almost exactly 8 weeks later I was notified that it was ready to pick up. It seems that the air filter needing replacing and the $74. cost was expensive, but then it had been my choice to let a professional do the work. I would recommend them if you are willing to wait and pay the price.
