I had an appointment yesterday at the Salem VA Clinic. I have Anxiety because of past experiences with the VA, so I wasn't looking forward to it at all. I was surprised at there being only a handful of patients in the waiting room. I thought that was a little odd. I've been part of the VA healthcare system for a while and Never have I seen a waiting room Empty... As soon as I gave my last name and digits I was ushered right into an Examination room. The nurse that took my vitals was Awesome and so was Dr. Salmon...❗ Dr. Salmon is Very Personable and Informative. I Hope he stays with the VA. Love my providers at the Salem VA clinic. They listen and do their very best to get Community Care referrals set in motion when needed. The walk-in staff are amazing, quickly and correctly diagnosing issues and treating them.
