Salem Geeks offers an extremely high level of expertise at a very low price. First, why take my opinion? I have a BS in computer science, worked in IT for years and have been building my own computers for 30 years. At work, we used Salem Geeks for overflow work. Besides being cheaper than other shops, in one case he found proprietary laptop parts other shops, and my coworkers, could not. In my latest build I didn't know about a new setup and got very frustrated when it didn't work. My wife offered to let me take it to Salem Geeks out of her own spending money, not mine, so I took it. He diagnosed the problem in 5 seconds and told me how to fix it. I had a bad feeling about the power supply and decided to have him fix it. Long story short is for a small price he saved me many hours of frustration. Trivial, but he is also the best at cable management and the computer insides look far better than what I would have done. My conclusion is that Salem Geeks is continuing their tradition of great service at a low price.
If you are a customer of theirs, they will suggest a simple fix on the phone for free. They are also conscious of ways to save you money on repairs and upgrades.Best of all, when they fix something, it's fixed without messing up a bunch of other stuff. (Which is why I won't let my brother touch my desktop.)
