I have been taking Pilates from Ingrid Burrows for over a decade. She brings her training, intuitive nature and determination to help as many people as she can, to this form of exercise. I am an active 72 year old with scoliosis who no longer needs to see a chiropractor, thanks to Pilates . Pilates with its focus on strengthening the core muscles, strengthening the small muscles that keep our spine in alignment and working on balance, allows me to continue to engage in the physical activities I have always enjoyed.
After graduating college, I was searching for an affordable and reputable gym in South Salem. Physiq was referred to me by a neighbor. Upon entering the Commercial St. location, I was greeted nicely by the two front desk workers. Ty helped me with my membership & explained everything very well. He was able to answer any of my questions and the process went smoothly! Since then, I've participated in several of the "On-Q" classes. Body pump (Jen), body combat (Jennifer), Pilates (Ingrid), and Body Balance (Paula) are by far my favorite classes. Physiq offers a great selection of free weights! I lift in the early-mornings or mid-afternoons. I have had no problem with waiting for a bench/rack/machine. Saturdays & Sundays are the least busiest days!
