When you're already feeling yucky all the way around, the last thing you want to do is sit there and discuss your past addiction and why you started using drugs when you were 14 years old and whatnot! The counselors recognize that and make the intake process far less grueling than other unnamed clinics in the area;) They offer weekly acupuncture which is amazing and counts as a group for the week, the same thing with Tai Chi, and Artistic Creativity weekly groups!!! Are you still standing in line waiting for your turn for 30 to 45 minutes everyday at that other place downtown? At Great Circle, the wait is always less than a few minutes. The staff is wonderful and they're open until 2;30. So much better!
Been going here over a year and I've never been to a clinic where every single counselor or nurse makes the effort to remember my name and always check in with me to make sure I'm doing alright. It's the best clinic/treatment center I've ever been to. They've truly helped me succeed in my recovery.
