I have been coming here for a little over 2 years and Tanya has made me feel so comfortable and confident in my hair! She is always telling me what she thinks should be done during my appointment and literally gives the BEST opinions. I love being able to sit there and trust that I can relax and know she will make me look better than when I first walked in. She is constantly taking my ideas and concerns and giving me such great educational feedback. I highly recommend this salon to all my friends and family anytime they ask me where I get my hair done!! I’ve been going to Essence Hair Salon for a year now, and let me tell you… THE SERVICE IS PHENOMENAL!!!! Tanya works all her magic and is realistic stylist. She will tell you all your options and you leave with healthy hair and a new confidence. I quite literally recommend this establishment to everyone! All the stylist make an effort to make it a comfortable environment. Always include me in their conversations and make it feel like I’m one of them.

Tanya is AMAZING! She took my long hair from a dark brown to a beautiful strawberry blonde that like melted red from my roots to bright blonde all the way down...it was unique and beautiful! She was so honest and upfront on what could be accomplished with such a transition because I am wanting to be a platinum blonde eventually which I know takes time if you don't want all your hair to fall out. She made such a drastic beautiful change by doing it in such a way that my hair looked more healthy when I left the when I came in! And she did it in the first session!
