Rosemary and Kara are absolutely phenomenal people to go to. Rosemary has been doing my hair for about 4 years now and I simply can’t go to anyone else. I have long thick hair and consistently got it messed up before I started coming here, haven’t had this happen since.
I just got my first facial ever, done by Kara, who made the experience so relaxing and perfect. She shampooed and blew out my hair after (so stun) and it was just such a perfect relaxing day.
Absolutely recommend coming here!
I got a haircut last week at a different salon that I hated and I was so upset especially since I'm getting married in a couple of weeks. I was desperate to fix it and decided to try out Urbaca salon and I'm so glad I did. Anjuli was so attentive and took the time to understand what I wanted to change about my hair and provided helpful suggestions. She was both professional and personable. I absolutely love the job she did. It's been a very long time since I loved a haircut this much. Now I don't have to wear a paper bag on my wedding day. I would definitely go to her again!
I've been going to Urbaca off and on (whenever I live in Portland) for many years. The salon itself has always been a fun, creative and welcoming space to visit.
Stylist: Bryony is a super fun, bubbly, talented stylist! She is awesome with color. I have super fine, sensitive hair, but she has been able to do creative, fun and significant color changes without damage and is always open to trying something new. She does a ton more than just color and cuts, and has done glam for people going to the Oscars, rainbow hair coloring, brows, etc etc. She's usually really busy/booked out so if you can schedule with her you'll be lucky!
