I've been seeing Cat Good for just shy of a decade now and they've always done right by me. Every time they take care of my hair I'm always amazed at how good my hair and I look!! Their work is worth every penny and I've been so incredibly lucky to have them keep my bangs and curls better than they've ever been

The Nest is so bright and pretty and fun! I’ve been going to Karen for both cut and color for years and she has expertly guided me through soooo many shades and styles, I like to change it up. She knows how to work with your hair type, face shape, and keep it current and stylish. You can tell that everyone at the Nest loves being there, and it’s such a wonderful environment to get your hair cared for in!

Tracy was an absolute goddess and did a perfect job with my balayage and brought my hair back to life! She was able to create my vision and I am truly grateful for my experience here. The salon also had an incredible atmosphere that was warm, welcoming, and peaceful. I had an incredible time and truly felt like they went above and beyond to provide excellent service! Tracy has been my hairstylist for 7 years. She has cut, colored, and even shaved my head over the time I’ve seen her. She is a talented stylist who always listens to what I want and isn’t afraid to try something new. I started going The Nest when I found out Tracy had moved there. She cut my hair once back in 2017 at a different salon. It was such a memorable experience, and perfect haircut, that when I moved back to Portland in 2021 I just had to track her down! Remembering my last experience, this time when she asked what I wanted I let her decide. She gave me a haircut that has been so much more. Her cut captured exactly who I am, and has given me more confidence in my forties, than I’ve ever had. Tracy is the perfect blend of sass and home. As long as she’s at The Nest, I’ll be there!

I moved across town but love Cat so much that I now drive 40 minutes to St Johns to see them because they’re just that good. I have curly hair and have often struggled to find a stylist who understands curls and can help me look the way I want, but Cat GETS IT. They do a great job of listening (or interpreting my vague hand gestures, haha) and have created a style for me that makes me feel good. Plus I just like spending time chatting with them during my time in their chair! Really appreciate the evening appointment options, too. I genuinely couldn’t dream up a better stylist!!

I’ve been going to Cat for a few years now, and I truly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair. The space is always lovely and energizing — it feels like a little reset every time I walk in.
Time in their chair is both relaxing and enjoyable. Cat has such a natural sense for reading the room — they know exactly when to dive into great conversation and when to let me just chill and unwind.
They do an incredible job with my curly hair (which is no small task!) and somehow makes those pesky gray hairs completely disappear. I always leave feeling refreshed, confident, and very well taken care of. Highly recommend!

I've been coming to The Nest for about 5 years. I love the ambiance and all of the stylists are so kind and lovely. Tracy works her magic on my hair each and every time. In addition, she is a beautiful being and is so caring, from her warm smile to her sumptuous head massages, to her hug goodbye. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
