We drove to Shriners' fracture walk-in clinic from California when the Slocum Center in Eugene wouldn't even schedule a consult within a week for my son's broken elbow, despite an urgent referral from the orthopedic surgeon that he needed surgery with a pediatric specialist right away. We took a chance and headed to Shriners.
They were amazing! We walked in, he was seen promptly, given new X-Rays, and scheduled for surgery the same day. I'm so thankful that they took us seriously and got my son the attention he needed. Dr. Freese and all of the staff were top-notch!

My 11-year-old daughter was sent there for scoliosis surgery. The doctors and nurses and all the staff were very nice and accommodating to us and took the most wonderful care of our daughter. It was a very stressful time for us but they made it so much easier and I can't say enough about Dr. Menapace he was my daughter's surgeon and he did an absolutely fantastic job. It's been around 5 months now and my kid is pretty much healed up. The scar is even fading and she's feeling so much better Thank you, Shriners hospital
