I rarely write a review on Yelp but this one is really special because thanks to Tressa I'm pain free now! I have been having neck and mid back pain for a few weeks now and as I was searching for a massage therapist at 2am to help me with my pain I came across Scrape. I quickly booked an appointment and it was the best decision I have ever made. I have been to several massage therapist and chiropractors in the past but nothing compares to Tressa's massage along with the Gua sha she uses. She is very knowledgeable and gifted at what she does. Gua sha massage was new to me (other than YouTube videos) when I went searching for a local practitioner, but I knew of Graston tools and I've been a deep tissue massage seeker for as long as I've been getting bodywork. Scrape and Tressa are gems; as others have noted, the location in a historic mansion set far back from the street is magical to approach, and Tressa's personal energy is both grounding and supportive. I went for a second treatment this past Sunday and we discussed areas that needed particular attention. Tressa is amazing! The space is calm, putting you immediately at ease. She’s attentive and always looking out for her clients. Gua sha has been incredibly helpful in increasing mobility in my shoulder/ lats after a powerlifting injury.
