Wonderful experience, staff made sure I understood everything, took extra good care of me (I warned I have terrible veins and preferred to get it done in my hand, which they did and got me on the first poke!). They were very accommodating offering snacks and drinks throughout the appointment. Made my experience quick easy and very comfortable

The nurse who set up my infusion forgot to include the required filter at the end of the infusion line. No one knows the potential side effects of this neglect so they were only able to tell me to look out for signs of illness. I am a heart transplant patient and can’t afford to have mistakes in my care. I would not recommend this infusion center at Providence Northeast location.

    People here were fantastic.
Only problem was chair would not recline in one room.

I experienced an infusion reaction immediately after discharge. The nurses NEVER took my vitals, patronized me, and recommended I drive myself home. DO NOT GO HERE.

my first visit started off horrible! The front receptionists asked me for my personal information, i.e., full name, address, phone number - all within hearing distance of the lobby that was full of other patients. I felt like my personal information was laid to bare for the entire lobby to hear. And when I expressed my concern about not obtaining this personal information in a private setting, two of the older female receptionists became very aggressive/combative and verbally accosted me in front of the entire lobby! This encounter was completely void of any concern for my privacy and well-being! And the two combative receptionists certainly don't belong in any job dealing with patients or the public; they'd be better suited for jobs as prison guards!

Have been coming here annually for my mammography ever since they opened. On the first floor in the North Tower is the Providence Safeway Foundation Breast Center, which has been designated The Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by seeking and earning accreditation in all of the American College of Radiology's voluntary breast-imaging accreditation programs and modules, in addition to the mandatory Mammography Accreditation Program. In addition to the latest technology and equipment, the Center has created an environment and process that makes the experience as stress free as possible. For many women, and men, it's not the actual exam that is painful, but the anxiety and fear one experiences until they receive the results. To minimize the stress, they are prompt with appointments so you are not left waiting in the main lobby. Once the attendant comes to get you, you are brought into a smaller waiting area, given a heated robe so when you undress from the waist up, you are enveloped in warmth. They provide a locker with key for your clothes and purse. There are comfy chairs, magazines, coffee & tea and a bathroom in this area. Once you have changed into a robe, you are taken into a private room for imaging. The process from the time I entered the office on the first floor of the North Tower, had the exam and left, was 30 minutes. The radiologist reviews images the next day. If they detect anything at all that seems suspicious, they call. Otherwise you receive a letter in the mail within 2 weeks, with a copy to your doctor. Conveniently located right next to Providence with the entrance on NE 48th, you can valet park and use the main entrance or park your car in the attached lot and take the skybridge on the 2nd floor, which will keep you dry & warm. You then take the elevator down to first floor and the Breast Center is to the right, down the hall. There are lots of other oncology offices in this building. When you walk in on the first floor, there is an information desk, but I find it more helpful to ask your doctor's office for specifics on their location so you know where you are heading. The building is bright, clean and has a modern flair. I highly recommend this facility.

Free parking was easy in the structure, our appointment was on time and the staff were pleasant and even empathetic to suffering. The IV nurse got it on the first try! We were in an IV infusion room, so it's a snippet of the facility. One complaint: Can you say HIPPA violation? They should do a simple remodel to the infusion rooms and make the walls between rooms go all the way back. Then everyone doesn't hear everyone else's medical info and LOUD TALK. The elderly man in the next room spoke very loudly -- we all get deaf. I understand. And the woman with him spoke excessively loudly so that he could hear her. We should not have heard his medical history, test results, and treatment for the day. And then there was the conversation about younger folks expecting everything right away that the older generation worked their whole lives to eventually earn...yadda, yadda, yadda. Staff great -- rooms problematic.

The moment we arrived, it was unclear which front desk person had the knowledge or ability to verify our appointment location. Technically the valet knew more about obtaining a wheelchair and giving directions to the specialty cancer offices. Once we arrived on the 6th floor in suite 660(the actual location of our appointment) we waited at the check in line as the signs directed. A woman named Nadine "greeted" us with a lousy attitude and raised her voice in frustration with our confusion. It turns out there's two systems for managing patient info. However, regardless of the confusing nature of their appointment making systems it shouldn't ever be taken out on cancer patients or even people there to look into screening. I filled out a comment card to share feedback about the ups and downs of their staff in the front desk, which there is no drop box for and must be mailed. Now, I'm not in the habit of bringing things into hospital restrooms if I don't need to. Especially things that might pick up a bug get toted all the way home so I let that sit with my other things while I payed a visit to the facilities. In my brief absence during my visit to the ladies room, they tossed my comment card in the garbage but left my empty plastic cup and other miscellaneous paperwork. It seemed intentional or at least thoughtless and (if they were genuinely trying to clean) poorly done. We come for adequate care, compassion and hope. The people (mainly that woman Nadine) let us down and set a poor example. If this wasn't an issue as serious as cancer, we'd have run for the hills. Good luck and syoy. I'd like to add that I wrote this review based on the small reviewable experience we had, shortly after being told we didn't have an appointment that day (see comment referring to the confusing nature of appointments) which in reality we did and that brings me to the additional stars brought to my review. The nurse that will be helping to manage our care and appointments was kind enough to hear concerns we wanted to share. She also shot the front desk lady a withering glare as she personally took the comment card from the waste bin and assured us it would reach the proper hands. Beyond that the visit was short but informative. We're set up for a biopsy and slated to work with respected and thorough specialists. We're scared obviously, but once you get past the front desk, it looks like you're in good hands. If you too experience something like what we did, please consider sharing with your caregiver, nurse and doctor. The people at that front desk handle sensitive health info and are supposed to be professional. They're the first people we see in this office, they should start acting like it.
