So much thought, effort, skill, and expertise goes into every single tile. Their showroom is like an art gallery. You'll wonder why they haven't had benches installed for people who want to just sit and stare for a while. Magical, magnificent artisan tiles!

We went in on a busy Friday afternoon. There were two workers in the showroom but only one of them, Jami, paid any attention to us and she was busy!! (the other dark haired gal was just at her computer the whole time) Jami was handling several groups of people yet being kind and attentive to all of them. She checked in with me several times and was super knowledgeable about the tile they sell but also about tile in general. We learned a lot from the experience, got some samples to take home and look forward to making an appointment to work with her. They sell really beautiful, expensive tile. In the last many, many years my visits to P&L often felt dismissive. Interactions were brief, answers were curt, and there was a little eye contact or engagement. The overall tone came across as disinterested rather than welcoming. Unless- you happened to mention where you were building your home (money location) or came in dressed as money. Then you were greeted and attended to. ick
More recently, I was met with a genuine smile (Katy), and a friendly greeting. There’s no being followed or pushed, but the welcome is immediate, and it feels easy to ask questions or engage when you’re ready.
