This is my experience since I have been coming to this Providence Facility for over 20 yrs. as a patient myself and also my family. I have always felt cared for by all the staff and have had received quality care. Yes, sometimes you have to wait for an appointment longer than you like especially during the pandemic and cold/flu season which affects everyone, including their staff. But Providence and especially this Scholls Facility has delivered constant quality care for me and my family. I am biased since I worked for Providence for many yrs but there's nowhere else I would go.

I gave it 2 stars because the people themselves were very nice and professional. But beware of their new patient charges that insurance doesn't pay for. I got a bill for $342 to become a new patient, when I asked the business office why the cost the answer was because that's the charge. They had no option other put me on a payment plan. I was there for a standard physical and got the $342 bill. I find it unbelievable that they charge to become a patient. Most of what they asked me I already answered online. Other than take my pulse and blood pressure they didn't do anything for the amount of money they are charging. I am going back to the Portland Clinic where they don't charge you for the privilege of going to see their doctors.

This clinic is corrupt and all about milking your insurance for the max amount and then charging the patient just as much. For example, I went in to see an internal medicine doctor for an annual exam (no chronic issues or condition; as easy and simple as a patient can get). The visit was billed for over $1000 (yes - a thousand dollars for a basic check up that lasted maybe 20 minutes). That didn't even include the cost of the blood draw which was another $250 (I got stuck paying $150 on that). My insurance paid $500 of the $1000 and now I'm stuck paying another $500. They coded the appointment for multiple things and wouldn't be transparent about it. My insurance told me everything they were billed for and it's utter BS. My insurance fully covered the annual exam portion but all the extras they coded aren't covered. The bill reads like I got a kidney transplant while there. My husband also went to this clinic for a minor injury. His doctor didn't even him - he was seen for 1 minute by a nurse and then had an X-ray done. The 1 minute visit was billed for $500. The cost of the X-ray was separate. Feel free to use this clinic if you're okay with them robbing you blind. Perfect example of corrupt, soulless medical practice that only cares about billing for as much as they can. Disgusting!

I see Karla McGee, FNP. I've never had any problem getting an appointment within a few days to a week and the phone and front desk staff are always kind. I feel that Karla listens to me and remembers details about me that make me feel heard. She doesn't hesitate to get labs or refer me to a specialist when something is wrong. I've seen other providers here too, and they've been great.

It's been several months since I was last seen by Dr. R. Nathan at this location. I have been too upset by what I experienced to be able to write a rational review which could help others. Medical doctors are important to the communities they serve. In this respect, Dr. R. Nathan is important. Here's the situation. You decide. I am a legal, decent, law abiding older person. I have a history of chronic medical problems requiring a stomach med and a breathing med. I had just recovered from severe bronchitis. In order to be treated by this doctor for follow up, I had to sign a "medication agreement' which was presented to me as an "opioid agreement". I was not prescribed any opioids. I didn't ask for any pain meds. Make sense to you? This "agreement" cannot be removed or rescinded by the patient. It's permanent. I did not get a copy of it. It includes any drugs the doctor deems as mood altering. Smell something fishy yet? The "agreement" ensured I would not be able to seek medical help from any specialist within any Providence medical location except Dr. R. Nathan. Seriously! Now, talk about a way to build up your patient list! I was given 999, yes, 999 refills for the meds as long as I received them within 12 months. The doctor was doing me a favor. And I can only refill the meds once every 30 days. The local pharmacist was bewildered at the doctor's repeated error on every prescription and called about it. Yep no mistake, 999 refills. Make sense? You do the math. I was instructed by Dr. R. Nathan to seek a specialist and then denied any care at the Milwaukie Oregon location, miles away where I was sent to. It was next to a hospital. The person I was referred to there was outraged over Dr. R. Nathan's conduct toward me. "Dr." Taylor said "she doesn't want to do her job" and "you should not be here because we cannot help you".The agreement prevents any care he said. Dr. Taylor could only apologize repeatedly.

Dr. Nagapan is awful. She just stares at her computer screen checking off items. Poor social skills. When she's asked a question, she'll ignore it so she can get back to her little computer boxes. When she's done, not when the patients concerns are answered she marches out.

Jennifer Street is a fantastic person. If you are looking for a new health care provider, I would work with her to find a wonderful fit. The 5 stars are for her. I had a horrible experience with Dr. Nathan and her staff. I will not go into personal details, I just want to say, if you are looking for a considerate, understanding and proactive doctor, Dr. Nathan will not be a good fit for you either. 1 stars for Dr. Nathan.

If you are looking for a doctor look elsewhere. The physicians are terrible and I've had 2 PCP's here. The doctors rush you in and out. They do not listen to you. They just want to prescribe you unnecessary medicine and get you out the door. There is no accountability for their poor service or any forum for feedback. Issues are ignored, nothing is escalated and when you do escalate an issue there is no response or follow-up from their "Supervisor - Jennifer." This is the only place I have ever complained about and after 10 years of being a patient here I am going to find another medical office/doctor to go to. TERRIBLE, Terrible medical office. SO disappointed!

I brought my daughter to the urgent care and I was pleasantly surprised by our visit. It's flu season and everyone who seemed sick was asked to wear a mask, the waiting room was clean. My daughter is a toddler though and would not put a mask on, so we were sat in isolation and I totally appreciated that! The Dr we saw was very nice, the same could not really be said about the medical assistant but overall we had a positive visit.
