Not sure what the company was like when it garnered all of these bad reviews but my experience has been great so far. Training has been thorough, their standards for professionalism in office and on-site are top notch, and I’ve been encouraged and never made to feel dumb for asking questions. I’ve felt supported, heard and understood by everyone, from the hiring manager to upper management.I had a family emergency and was dealt with graciously. I don’t know what people are looking for in an employer. You’re here to do a job and get a paycheck. Everyone expects an ‘atta boy’ these days. I worked for PPS for about nine months and left only because I was moving out of state. I had a great experience. The training/orientation was very in depth. I was able to be a security officer in an awesome building downtown Portland and I met some amazing people. My supervisors were always very accommodating in regard to offering me chances at overtime, but never pressuring me to take it. My supervisors were always willing to give me advice and help while out in the field.
