My teen son was referred by his pediatrician for removal of a few moles that were bothering him. We were able to get an appointment rather quickly.
There were complications during his visit that Dr. Leitenberger and Abby handled with so much grace. They explained everything that was happening in an approachable manner - easy for young teens to understand, gave him autonomy to decide how the visit would proceed, and checked in on him numerous times to ensure he was ok during and after the procedure.
They didn’t rush us to get out the door when my son needed more time to recover. If you know anything about how typical dermatology shops are run, you’ll understand how exceptional that is.
Overall I just think this care team is wonderful for children (including neurodivergent kiddos like mine) and would highly recommend. Bonus: free 2-hr parking in the ground floor garage.

Very pleased with the care by Dr Hajar and staff. They have continued the tradition and excellent care by Dr Tavelli who retired a few years ago. Dr Hajar is a skilled diagnostician and excellent surgeon who communicates well with patients.

I called to schedule an appointment and they told me that the first appointment available is in mid February 2027. So I was like, what?? Who is going to wait a year to see a provider?? Good luck getting an appointment. Person on the phone was not helpful! At first I was impressed for other reviews here but call them and sooner you will find out that is nothing like that. Not a good experience!

My wife met with one of the Doctors at NW Dermatology for the first time a few weeks ago. We had a couple of concerning issues that the Dr address and referred us for a biopsy. The Biopsy was return negative for cancer. Which was a big relief
