After getting under contract to purchase an 1890s home in SE Portland, I hired Harka to perform a Visioning Inspection to supplement the results of a general home inspection. Architect Patrick was great, helping me to understand the challenges and design solutions available to resolve a complex foundation issue. Thanks in large part to the information supplied by Harka, I was able to make an informed decision to not purchase the house due to the cost and complexity involved with the foundation issue.

I cannot recommend the team at Harka enough. We’ve now renovated two homes with them and each time the experience surpasses my expectations. We worked with Patrick Donaldson and Sarah Hurt at Harka on an extensive kitchen remodel that involved moving a structural wall. They provided valuable feedback on various design options, got us in touch with an excellent builder (Hayes Brothers), and served as an interface with the structural engineers during the construction phase. We are extremely pleased with the result.
