I go there and pick up there first, second and third cuts for free. I then go home and make different wooden projects out of the wood material, I then give to family members or friends for presents. One day I'll sell what I make, still in the learning process.

I am beyond impressed with Goby Walnut and my recent online order. first due to the quality of the product.... stunningly beautiful wood! Out of the box these pieces looked exactly like the online picture with deep, rich color and beautiful figure and curling! Second due to their top notch customer service. I received a call from Phil of Goby Walnut the day after placing my order letting me know that one of the live edge pieces I ordered had been purchased shortly before my order was placed and the website hadn't been updated due to the proximity of the orders to each other. he told me to look and pick another piece and if it was slightly more they would match the... read full review

I wanted butcher block for my laundry room. I did not want to buy it from Home Depot or other suppliers that offer wood products of questionable quality. Found Goby via Google search and did a site visit hoping that they would have what I was after. Wound up picking out a beautiful slab of 96" long solid white oak butcher block at a competitive price. They held it for me free of charge for a week while I arranged transport. Friendly staff. Warehouse and grounds are something to drool over if you're a woodworker, but laypeople like me can find great stuff too. Happy I made the trip. Thanks for helping with my remodel!
