Brittany was incredible at guiding me through my hair journey and teaching me how to get the most out of my curls. The Innersense products are absolutely amazing and have made my curls so soft and bouncy. Yes the service is not cheap but the quality is incredible! I had the full hair detox treatment and it felt AMAZING! Would recommend 1000%!!!

I recently moved to the PNW and have been hoping to find a stylist for some time. I am so so so glad I found this salon! I searched high and low to find a Deva cut stylist, and I was in luck when I found out that Russell was still taking new clients. He is the highest level of Deva certification and it certainly shows. He is absolutely magic with his shears. I have had several deva cuts, and this by far has been my favorite. Russell really took the time to get to know me and asked what I wanted from my haircut. He let me show him photos and then talked me through the process as we went along. The cut itself was perfect. I wear an afro, and he had it shaped perfectly. I've had several cuts in the past where it ended up lopsided and uneven, but this cut was just right. Russell is a true genius with his craft. His passion for his work shows not only though his extraordinary talent, but also in his ability to teach his clients about their hair and what will work well for their curls. It is no wonder that people travel from all around the world to see him. I'm thankful I only have to travel from the next town over. The salon itself was very cozy. All the stylists, especially the owner, were welcoming and kind. Russell was on time and gave all his attention to me while cutting. He also did a lot of education in products and how to use the Innersense line of products. I was using them all wrong! I am grateful to have finally found my curly/coily stylist. Highly skilled and thoughtful care. I appreciated the detailed attention to my specific hair needs and the thorough training in how to use each product. The salon is in a charming, old house and has a light, clean vintage vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed my first experience with Gilded Fox and will plan future trips to the Portland area around appointments with them (I reside in Idaho).
