Very helpful (above and beyond), personable, didn't make me feel stupid for not understanding computer stuff, better availability than other repair shops I looked at (especially for someone working a Mon-Fri, 9-5 type of job), and easy system for online scheduling and communication! It's not giving me an option to rate, but I would give him a 5/5.
I've decided to fix my MacBook Pro with a screwdriver and a box cutter...(what was I thinking???) It didn't go too well. I. came to see Eric and he immediately knew what kind of damage has happened and what needed to be replaced- a monitor's connector. When Eric has completed some additional tests he found out another bad news,- my display got burned as well, ouch...I was ready to pay hundreds of dollars, or take it to a junkyard, but Eric told me that he had a spare display and he can use it Ito save me money..Wow, nowadays not too many businessmen waking up thinking how to save me some $$$. Yet the biggest surprise was waiting for me when I've come to pick up my MacBook. Eric told me that while repairing it he found out that my 6 years old battery didn't hold the charge too well, and he....(are you ready for this????) he installed a battery with very few charging cycles...for FREE!!!!!. Eric is nor that a certified Mac technician, he is a true DOCTOR and he is in business of healing not just broken Macs but broken hearts as well, he is a terrific human being that can be TRUSTED!
