I walked by on a whim, stomach full of Thai food, close to closing at freaks and geeks and Jason the owner took fantastic care of me. I was in at 6:40, with a 9:40 flight, and Jason gave me exactly the tattoo (my first) I’ve been wanting all done by 7:35. He was super nice and did an excellent job!
Been a month since I got my tattoo done at Freaks & Geeks. It has healed up nicely and looks great. Super nice studio, Jason is very cool and professional. My tattoo was done my Derek, who was awesome. Very friendly and made me feel comfortable. It was a pleasure hanging out with them for a couple hours. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get work done in NE Portland.
Walked in to get a small palm tattoo, was my first tattoo. Derek was super kind and knowledgable, told me everything I needed to know to make the informed decision to get the tattoo. Very gently but very honestly told me the downsides of the placement so that I had all the info at hand. Still ready to do it, he met me the next morning and made it happen! Super kind and gentle again, gave me lots of info on the tattoo placement and even some of the history of hand tattoos. Tattoo itself came out exactly as I wanted, Derek made sure I was super comfortable the whole time, especially since it was my first. 10/10 experience, 10/10 tattoo, 10/10 tattoo artist
