My 9 year old son has been taking jiujitsu classes here for about a year and is just as excited about it now as the day he started. You can watch class from the ample seating area or just drop-off and pick-up. The coaches are exceptional at connecting with and teaching children. A positive spirit permeates the entire space. I’m glad we found Five Rings.

Both of my children have been attending 5 Rings since 2018, starting in the Samurai group. The programming is exceptional and exactly what we were looking for. I especially appreciate the 1-hour class length—it’s the perfect balance—and how each session blends movement-focused activities with engaging games. The classes offer a great synergy of intensity, play, and focus, which keeps my kids genuinely excited to participate.

Five Rings has a fantastic youth program. It works for very different kinds of kids, giving them BJJ skills, sure, but all the other benefits you expect from martial arts in an extremely positive and caring environment. Kids are organized by age and then earn different belts in each tier. The vibe works for kids who love it all, and those who never want to go to class. Good rates that are flexible with the amount of classes you want in a week. The adult classes are also lead by thoughtful and engaging teachers.
