I have been working with Edward for over a year now, trying to be on the table once a month. I've been a fan since day one! I appreciate him listening to my needs and also sharing his observations of how he is sensing my muscles. Edward has good intuition and observations, and also is good about asking questions to explicitly check in - even after all this time together he is consistent about that. I enjoy the conversations we hold, and have had comfortable times of silence. I’ve been getting treatment with Edward Wickwire for some time, and his work is consistently exceptional. His space itself is lovely and historic, creating an immediate sense of calm and care. What truly stands out is the depth of attention and intention in each session, this is a collaborative, highly attuned process. Edward helped me through an excruciatingly painful back injury and in fact seeing him was much more helpful then Rx pain medication. I continue to go to him when my body gets tweaked. As the previous reviewer stated, he is not only an excellent massage therapist, but also an engaging person. I've previously gone to massage therapists who worked more on a purely muscular level. I was a little skeptical about myofascial massage initially, but am sold on it as it seems to yield excellent results.
