I moved to Portland a couple of years ago and did tons of research before choosing a vet for my senior cat, Sir Dudess Louise VonLichtenstein. I landed at Buckman Veterinary Clinic based on the glowing reviews.
They are certainly not the cheapest vet in town, but I truly believe in my heart that you get what you pay for. I would go hungry before taking my baby to a different vet.

I have been going to Buckman since they opened. My dog is challenging and they were recommended by another Vet. I won't go anywhere else the staff is great and I am extremely pleased with our vet. Can't say enough good things about the practice.
I absolutely love this veterinary office. I have the unfortunate pet parent's dilema of having had 3 special needs geriatric cats when I first found this office 2-3 years ago. Now with 2 special needs geriatric kitties remaining, I still visit here often. Although my emotions and my wallet are often taxed by my kitties health situations, the office is always a delight to visit. Every staff member is amazing, compassionate, handle the kitties better than any other vet office I've ever been to in the 13-18 years of these kiddos lives. I cannot praise the office enough. 🩵
