Bikes for Humanity PDX is a great community-focused shop in Portland. It offers quality bikes, used parts, and bike services. People can donate bikes or time to a worthy cause and receive helpful advice. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and make sure customers find the right bike and accessories. It’s a trusted place for buying, donating, and learning about bikes.
We brought our bikes down to the park where they were located today. They fixed both bikes, even after the torrential downpour that hit! Really nice guys. They had also shown us some general repair tips that we can do ourselves, which was very helpful :-)
I stumbled upon b4hpdx a couple of year ago and consider it a terrific community organization dedicated to education and serving underserved.
