Beau Monde Academy of Barbering and Cosmetology

I came in as favor to a friend and I WILL NOT be going back. Front desk staff helped/talked to their friends, children, AND husband all before even looking at me standing there. They were extremely rude and unfriendly, I felt very unwelcome in this establishment

I went to Beau Monde this week for a haircut. I was very satisfied with the cut and the service. My cut was somewhat unusual and they did a great job. Plus the price was terrific! I would recommend giving them a try. I will definitely be going back for future cuts.

Appointments are completely Unreliable. One of the students gave me the best haircut, so next time I made an appointment specifically with that student, I was told to come at 12:00pm. I was there 15 minutes before 12, the attendant told me that it was going to be another 30 to 40 minutes. She wanted me to get another student, I said no I'll wait. After 1 hour she told me that she could give me another student because the one I wanted had taken another client for a beard trim, so it was going to be another 30 minutes. I said I was going to wait... At 2:15 pm I let her know that I was leaving, she offered another student, I said no, I'll come back next Saturday, then she offered to make an appointment specifically with the student I had chosen, which I did.
I left the place and at 15 miles away on the freeway, they called me to come back for my haircut. I didn't.
Today (Saturday) morning I called to confirm my appointment student was available, to my surprise they offered another student... I was not found in the appointment book and my chosen student was completely booked out... I declined.

Needless to say how upset I am with their way of handling business. I wish they had told me the truth instead of keep me waiting and wasting my time for nothing.

Yes, I tried to support the school and their students, but they don't value it at all. So it's not worth wasting more time here.

I don’t even know where to begin. I’m normally never picky about the haircuts I get, but I left the chair feeling so embarrassed. I wanted to trust the process so bad. I felt super rushed which was what likely led to my haircut being botched. I just wish they were transparent with me if they weren’t able to give me what I asked for.

Shar’lisa was so patient and thorough with my very long hair! She and the instructor both checked in with me about the length I wanted and truly I feel so much lighter. I love my hair and the whole environment was so relaxing and professional

I had a great experience today at Beau Monde Academy. Christian did a wonderful job , she listened carefully to my instructions and gave me the exact haircut I was expecting. The service was friendly, the environment was welcoming, and the price was very student-friendly. I left feeling very happy with the result!

Marte was like getting a combo when you only ordered the entree! I was detangled, washed, blow dried, and flat ironed in 2 hours which is unheard of for my mane. He had great conversation and was teaching me about how to take care of my hair along the way. I was so happy with the result. Truly I tell you, Marte is the one, not the two.

I got a root touch-up, shampoo, and blow dry, and Christian, the student, really impressed me. My hair is thick and textured, and they gave it a super thorough wash. Plus, supervisors are always around to help out and make sure everyone's good.

I go to Beau Monde Academy for a few reasons, although it isn't always convenient to go, but the price for seniors I can't beat, all the students that cut my hair has always been very sweet and I feel it's hair and it will grow back. But having the students cut and sometime style my hair I've always been satisfied . And I'm always greeted by Rachel MacKenzie with a Smile

I’ve been here twice for two different services - a facial and a haircut and both times Miranda worked on me. The facial was incredibly soothing and relaxing and I’m in love with my new hair. I’m not getting my haircut by anyone else.
