Decent haircuts, excellent price, extended service times (3+ hours for basic haircut).

Hannah L. did such an amazing job on my hair! Hannah listened so well to the current struggles I had been facing with my hair and guided me to a perfect haircut. I also got my hair styled for a date night with my fiancé, with the vision of a Marilyn Monroe look. Hannah achieved this style perfectly, and I received so many compliments on my hair while at the Keller Auditorium. I'm absolutely thrilled.

I come here all the time to get haircuts and I’ve always had a good experience but I showed up 4 minutes before my appointment and they told me my stylist was running behind and didn’t know how long she would be and no one else was available. They asked me if I wanted to reschedule but I said no. I understand things happen but I wish I had gotten a call before I took the bus all the way down here.

Our stylist was sweet as anything, however I had a terrible experience with her “teacher”. Not sure what his name is, but he was tall with glasses.

After reading reviews on here for 15-20 minutes, I decided to book with a certain hairstylist. There is an option to book with a specific stylist on their website, so I assumed it would be honored. It was my kids “first day of school” haircut, and he was extremely emotional and scared. We were brought to the chair and as they were discussing the hairstyle, I noticed that the appt wasn’t booked with the stylist I selected. This wasn’t communicated to me at check in. I was trying to explain to them that in searching for a stylist, I was looking for the best by reading reviews. I didn’t say I picked the best. I was just telling a story, and trying to explain that I was curious as to why the one I selected wasn’t the one they assigned to my son. I also asked this stylist how long she had been there, in a calm way. This “teacher” told me, verbatim, “first of all, we are a school and maybe you shouldn’t be bringing your son here,” as well as “well we don’t communicate stylist changes because we are a school,” as well as many other choice phrases, very rudely stated. He also had another student berating me at the salon with him. The poor stylist they assigned to us was then crying. My kid was also crying. It was a mess. I believe I approached them calmly. I didn’t use a harsh or rude tone, I didn’t yell, or have any attitude. I was very matter of fact, though. However when that “teacher” came at me with a TERRIBLE, unprofessional attitude, I had to work harder to keep my cool (which I did). I apologized to the stylist and we all agreed that we should just leave.

To this stylist, I am so, so sorry. I never meant to make you feel less than, or hurt. I was just hoping for communication and clarity from a business. I read reviews at nearly every establishment that I visit, and make selections based on those reviews. It was nothing about or against you. My son is LGBTQ and from one of the reviews, it made it sound like the stylist I selected was also, as there were they/them pronouns mentioned. This is something that helps my son feel safer, and that’s one of the main reasons I selected them. “Best” meant best for him, not about skill. I loved your confidence and know that you will continue on to be such an amazing stylist. THANK YOU for being so sweet to us, and I’m terribly sorry again. I feel awful.

To the man with the attitude, kick rocks.

Back in 2019 I was a cosmo student and was kicked out for being a few minutes late sometimes when I lived an hour away and took the bus. I was only a few weeks into the program. I was told I could come back if I reapplied and paid all of my fees again.
After visiting different schools in different states as a guest and talking with students about the leniency they’ve experienced, I’m realizing how that petty rule set me back in my goals.
I hope they don’t still hold students, who are still learning & adapting, to this standard.
