I have been coming here for a long time to get my oil changed and have been extremely happy with their customer service, especially with Bob, who has always been super kind and helpful. For example, today when I came in, they mentioned that based on my mileage, I actually didn't need an oil change yet. To top it off, because I had been unsuccessful replacing my tail light because I couldn't get a bolt out, I asked them if they had any suggestions. Austin was kind enough to come out and try to get the bolt out and after several tries, we ended up agreeing that cutting off the bolt was the only way to get it out. He then went back into the shop to retrieve a cut off tool and cut off the head of the bolt, which allowed me to replace the taillight. I asked him how much I owed, and he said nothing, even after about 20 minutes of work. I'm extremely happy!
I have been taking my vehicles to Honest 1 (a different location before Milwaukie, and now Milwaukie for 5 years) and I have always been so impressed. This last time I took my van in they didn't connect a hose all the way (honest mistake) and it caused my van to die on the side of road. I had it towed back to the shop. Long story short, they reimbursed my towing fee, double checked everything and made sure it was good. The fact that a shop like this has integrity to own up to their mistake is top notch in my book. I am so grateful for Bob and their customer service. As a single mom on a budget, I am so grateful to have a mechanic I feel is honest and will do right by their customers.

My quote was prepared before my arrival, so they verified my statements, put in my booking, and asked a few questions to make sure adjustments were not needed. The quote was clear, fair, and accurate. It was a quick turn around and they addressed all of my car's issues and my concerns. I also appreciate that they didn't try to sell me a bunch of unnecessary other "fixes". I will definitely be back for future car needs.
