My mom went through targeted brain radiation with Dr. Omer Ikizler and he was amazing! Super professional and also amazing bedside manner. He was our favorite doctor during all of this!
My experience I have to separate from the shock of cancer itself. I had some frustrating points and felt at times on the pipeline going too fast, but at every point each person there helped me through my issues. I can't speak from a financial standpoint as I have OHP, but even then I was able to speak with the social services section for transportation and grocery help. My doctor, Sara Matar was always candid to me which normally I vibe well with but after I lost my hair I found more comfort in Dr Gabby who works with her, and was less resistant to the hard things ahead. My experience has been wonderful. Sara Matar is my doctor. I was one of her first patients at this facility. I had Stage 4 Lung Cancer. That was 5 years ago. I am alive. There is no sign of illness. She is the best. I am so glad she is here.
