Nice peiple but they kicked me out over calling insurance to get a refund on glasses that would take forever to get redone

I was a patient of Dr. Kantor's who was bought out by Dr. Oberly. I called to make an appointment. Was told my insurance would cover the visit, glasses, etc. I had emergent surgery, had to reschedule, the front desk person, continued to reassure me all was well with insurance, etc. When I finally was able to make my appointment in January, I had my eyes checked, and then picked out my frames carefully to stay within my insurance budget, etc. I picked out the progressives (covered) etc. It wasn't until AFTER I finished picking out my glasses, etc that I found out that they weren't taking my insurance anymore, and oh by the way, my glasses now were around... read full review

The front office staff acts very entitled and stuck up. From making the appointment, coming in for the exam, and coming back to order frames, each time I was received with a different staff member with a bad attitude. They refused to adjust my glasses because they were from Warby Parker, even though I am a patient with Group Eyecare and was there to order a new pair which would have surely been $500. After refusing to adjust any glasses from Warby Parker she quickly changed her mind and said she would do it for $50 per pair. So they wanted to stick me with a bill for $200 to make the slightest adjustment to my frames (3 from Warby Parker and 1 from my last doctor's... read full review
