I’ve been a happy Ahead of Style client for nearly 35 years now. Took my son here for his first haircut, then my daughter, and then me. I’ve seen four hairstylists here over all those years, and all were skilled, reliable, and wonderful people. I’ve always felt their pricing was very reasonable. I have no plans to trust my hair to anyone else!

I absolutely love Ahead of Style Salon and Spa, and Mia is the reason I keep coming back! She takes the time to understand exactly what I’m looking for and always helps me find the perfect style. Her attention to detail and genuine care make every appointment a wonderful experience. I always leave feeling confident, refreshed, and loving my hair.

With Mia you can have “Southern California blonde” right here in Portland - using Goldwell products!! (A favorite for bright, glistening blondes). Mia is a Master at her craft. You just have to sit back and enjoy!! One of the few things Southern California gets very right is blonde hair. She trains there regularly and it shows. My hair hasn’t looked this naturally blonde since leaving LA years ago. She’s also an amazing and caring person. AND she can cuts beautifully as well. Just a rare find. Simply put - MIA is Hair nirvana
