I have gotten on well with Dr. Crocker-Wensel for several years. She is time-efficient, but she'll also slow down to answer technical questions about medications or strategies for improving wellness. Just as importantly, she's always on top of paperwork, test results, and communications. Her office handles billing and scheduling efficiently too. It's such a relief because it avoids problems with running out of medications or sorting out confusions with insurance or the pharmacy.

I never thought I'd be writing this review because I am honestly very grateful to WVPM for providing psychiatric care to me since 2018. However, I must say that the majority of decent suggestions and prescriptions came from outside of this office. The only suggestions that you will get here are SSRIs/SNRIs--and they will not provide you proper information on whether you need to taper down on other serotinergic medication. I ended up in the ER due to the drug cocktail I got from here and another psychiatrist said it was lucky I was only having a panic attack (and not a heart attack). Very helpful and responsive, from doctor to office staff. Dr understands that medication, while helpful for many, is a tool, not the answer to everything. Good understanding of counseling, which many psychiatrists lack these days.
