“Look at the photo and judge for yourself, You won’t see better work anywhere, I swear I can see the sunflowers moving in the wind. I originally came to Whiteaker Tattoo to touch up a piece from another shop. During that brief encounter I chatted with Suzen about a full sleeve piece. We emailed ideas back and forth. Basically I sent her a list of items to include and let her bring it to life. She made a pattern of my arm to work from. Fast forward a couple of months and she has nailed it, even the stencils aligned perfectly on the first try. We’re about 24 hours in now, working in full day blocks because I live 5 hours away. She built the entire piece around the existing green gecko in the middle. Can’t wait to see how the rest of this comes out, I know it will be stunning.
Suzen is genuine and kind. Shop is super clean. Everyone is welcoming and professional. Because I’ve been there a lot lately I’ve seen the work of the other artists and they are all talented. They play awesome music and the place has a great vibe. I’m a chubby person and I have never been made to feel unworthy or ashamed of my body in this shop. This might be a bold statement but as long as this shop exists, it will be the only place I get work done, no matter where I live.“

It was actually her first day at High Priestess, but you would never have known it. She was calm, kind, reassuring, and gave me so much comfort and confidence.
