I first walked through the doors of Mckenzie Martial Arts 3 years ago having no idea what to expect from the free trial I’d roped myself into. I didn’t know much about martial arts or self defense, but I felt compelled to give it a try. It only took one class - I was hooked!This studio is a truly special and wonderful place. The coaches, the culture, the training partners and friends made, and the martial arts themselves have had a profound impact on me. Earning my Pink Belt today was an honor and a representation of how much growth has taken place on the mats at Mckenzie Martial Arts. If you're looking to develop/begin your martial arts journey this is an awesome place! Adam is truly an encyclopedia of JeetKuneDo and Juijitsu knowledge. Always breaking things down in the most digestible way, making sure the vibe is light, fun, and no one is ever left hanging. You can tell he cares for his people and his gym, always keepin it real Very grateful for my time here and wish other gyms offered the same foundational skills Adam and the team here had done for me, I've found that it's rather rare. If you're looking for a place to start, go here! I am grateful I did.
Very positive learning environment from highly skilled instructors. My son has been a student for several years now, and it's great to see how far he has progressed. Easy 5 stars.
