My Grandaughter Alisea just turned 3 and we put her in the karate class for 3-5 year olds!! The Sensei is also teaching them about safety and helping them to understand that they dont use karate on friends and others, but only to bad guys!! He is very patient and kind and the kids are learning and having alot of fun. Plus they look so cute in their little Gi's!! I read someone mention in their review it was in a shady neighborhood. When actually this is actually a decent safe neighborhood. You have to go around to the back door to get in. It's right next to the Teen Challenge Thrift Store. The inside is decent and clean. My kids have been doing lessons at the Family Karate Center for a few years now. It is an amazing place! Sensei Elida and Sensei Jeff work so well with all of the kids. Not only do they help with learning karate moves, but they support character development and making and following through on goals. It is such an enriching experience and highly recommended!

My son loves going to class with Sensei Elida! Seeing her patience and dedication to the kids is great. I can see the confidence building in our son and in the other kids in his class. It's the highlight of our week!
