This place is fabulous, and I think it may be one of the best kept secrets in Eugene! My 14-year-old wanted his first real short haircut. I asked around and then googled for a LGBTQ friendly hair salon. I found Anomaly recommended on Reddit. All the stylists were smiling and friendly. The stylist I chose to cut my son's hair was Matt. He was so kind, patient, and professional. He explained each step to my son before he would start cutting or texturizing. Not only is this salon collective decorated really nicely, it is comfortable and Matt made my kiddo feel at ease. They had a great conversation too! After a few months of putting off a much-needed haircut, I got a fantastic fade today from Jordin and I am just ecstatic with the job he did! I also used a gift certificate to get this cut for fee so I totally would have understood if they'd given me minimal service for that-- but that was not the case, as today was my first experience with a straight razor. Especially if you're queer, this is hands-down the best place to get your hair done in Eugene. I am very grateful to not have had to deal with the kind of crap other hairdressers have put me through, and I'm feeling just wonderful about how my hair looks now. Thank you Jordin!!!

I can't say enough amazing things about this salon. I see Zayah and they're super accommodating to my special requests and allergies. I always leave with an incredible haircut. Everyone here is always friendly. Always feel welcome. The place i beautiful and always clean. Good vibes all around.
