A very wonderful barn with an amazing atmosphere! Whether you are boarding or taking lessons, Robert is a knowledgable and extremely helpful individual. Several times, I could even say daily, he sets time aside for me to give advice or help with a project mare, and I consistently see him doing the same for others at the barn. As another review has mentioned, yes, the arena is NEVER exclusive, and everyone currently at the barn fully respects it. The arena is very large, so there's never a problem with sharing space, covered, and very well lit thanks to the new lights Robert has recently put in. The stalls are very spacious, larger than the average stable stall with automatic waters and a regular feeding and mucking schedule. Maintenance across the property is all done by Robert and occasionally a helping hand, keeping the entire property looking beautiful and cozy. There is an indoor place to relax with tables, chairs, couches, and heating, open to everybody. The barn itself is also kept clean and tidy, as is the arena.Summary:Well kept stalls and barn, 24/7 access to water (automatic waters), regular feeding scheduleOversized arena open for anyone, at anytime.Extremely knowledgable, understanding, and helpful instructor.Very friendly, almost family-like atmosphere.I've had nothing but good experiences here (:
Fascinating. We have lived here since November 1977. Just in the last few months started smelling sewer smell in bathroom and laundry room. I hired Main Line Plumbing Service to come out and look and fix. Turns out there was no p-traps on the laundry drain or the bathtub. Why did it take 40 some years to start smelling? Weird. Took him less then an hour to crawl under the home to do the tub and the one in the laundry room wall. Super great price too. We no longer smell the sewer we also no longer here the water draining. Vikk and Daniel, along with the rest of crew are a stand up team. They did a wonderful job tearing off a couple layers of old shingles along with some original wood shingles in some parts of the roof, laying down and repairing the decking, and installing a modern roof on a house that needed an overhaul. Vikk’s knowledge and the time he spent making sure we understood our options, the importance of ventilation, and not putting pressure on us to do anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary sold us, on top of a referral from neighbors whose parents had also used Stalcup and were very happy with them. We really appreciated how the job was quoted, with necessities clearly separated from optional upgrades. There was some momentary confusion about the placement of a few intake vents near a couple sections of flat roof and they made it right. The owner Jay came out himself to take care of it on a holiday weekend since we had the project completed right before July 4th. We highly recommend Stalcup Roofing.
