This is my favorite violin shop! A found there a very kind person named Nancy (the owner) who will greet and meet with you about your needs and be sure to help you and then some. She is extremely affordable too. She is compassionate about helping her customers with their stringed instrument needs and she is extremely knowledgeable about what she does.
This shop is the real deal! If you want the poodle parlor kind of shop where everyone pretends that they are rich and of some kind of musician aristocracy, then you are in the wrong place. go to Portland for that. I sought out Nancy’s shop when I was in search of new cello strings. While I was there, Nancy made some tweaks to my instrument to facilitate easier tuning, and filled in some gaps in my instrument-care knowledge that I never received as a young student musician or casual adult player. Her experience, expertise, kindness,
and dedication to our local community music programs make her business one I am happy to support. What a gem!

I just visited Nancy's shop and it was an amazing experience. I have eight grandchildren and I can't wait to get one of Nancy's violins in their hands. Nancy is an exceptional person and a wonderful gift to our community, She is devoted and passionate to give the gift of music to our children. Good music is better off because of you Nancy Rohn.
