I accidentally destroyed one of my Chanel shoes. I called probably 10 cobblers in and around Portland and went to 2 in person and no one said they could do anything for the damage besides condition the leather. I even reached out to a few car retailers who work with leather and they also said no can do. This place made it look like the damage never happened. The gentleman who owns it is also very kind and clearly amazing at what he does. Thank you
I've been bringing my repairs to Shoe Shop for eighteen years now. They completely earned my business when I brought them a damaged leather coat. The repair ended up being more complicated than expected but they still only charged the quoted amount. Since then, I've probably saved hundreds of dollars by having them re-heel and re-sole our favorite shoes. Shoe Shop always does great work and I feel I can trust their advice on whether a repair is worth doing. I live some distance away now but it's completely worth the drive down to Clackamas. This place is a treasure.
It's been years since I was able to find a quality shoe repair shop. I took 4 pairs of boots repaired. The ones that I loved so much were my Calvin Klein boots. The leather on the heels has mostly come off. Now they look brand new again!
