Amazing place. The front staff are so welcoming. Fitness classes are challenging at any level. Great people and clean safe environment.

This place is such a let down. Came in highly motivated to join as there are not many options in town. This place seems completely unmotivated to gain new members and I wonder how they will stay open if things don't change.

ACB, my home away from home. It took me a while to officially join because I was fearful of becoming a gym rat. Well that indeed happened and guess what - I'm ok with it. This gym is NICE - fancier than what I'm usually lured to (more industrial, crusty lifters gyms). The ACB has everything I want in a gym and more: Weight machines, free weights, cardio, pool, hot tub, steam room, sauna, basket ball courts, group classes, plus tennis and childcare for folks who are into that. The equipment is almost always in working order, the staff is amazing and many of the club members are becoming family. ACB is not the cheapest place in town, but for what you get it's totally worth it. Come check it out and Kip will give you a great tour.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, but my only issue is some days I come to workout and the women’s private gym is fully stocked (meaning the one treadmill is taken) and when that happens I have to look in the public area where the treadmills are organized horribly…. As a woman especially I find it hard to have the rows of treadmill where the back treadmills get a full view of your backside while you are putting work in…. (Reasons why the women’s private gym is lovely besides there being only one treadmill) not only that but the minimal amount of treadmills is crazy. Catch the gym on a medium busy day and sorry but the 7 treadmills that are your only options are all taken and even if one opens in the rows where everyone can see u do your thing it’s UNCOMFY! I’m sweating from more than just the workout I can feel old men eyes on me…. Organization would be ideal…. And maybe some more treadmills in the private women’s room.. just suggestions. I love the place and the kindness just upsetting to pay a lot of money and go at a time that shouldn’t be busy and u have to turn around to go home because u are unable to access a common machine.

Our family joined the Athletic Club to take advantage of the pool during the Summer (crowded but not as crowded as some of the local public pools & lessons are easier to get into). Outside of a seasonal Summer membership, I would not choose to spend my $$ here. The gym is very outdated, limited selection of (old) cardio equipment and exposed wire throughout the facility. 10 years ago I can see paying top dollar to be a member, but as it stands, the current membership fees seem to far exceed what you actually get.

Place could be nice but has a very weird dirty smell and there is dirt and dust everywhere even on some walls for the price of a membership you guys need to get that place clean

While I consider the ability to travel a great blessing, I have to admit that certain complications typically ensue from being away from home. One of those challenges can be how to continue your workout routine when on the road. While I don’t have specific recommendations for how to alleviate this situation in all cities, I can certainly provide some assistance when it comes to Bend, Oregon. The Athletic Club of Bend offers numerous opportunities for you to get that workout in when you’re in town for a visit. Their amenities include 7 indoor tennis courts, an indoor running track, indoor and outdoor pools, a large spa, cardio equipment, weight room, a full basketball court, and 4 racquetball/squash courts. While those amenities don’t necessarily make this place unique, there are two characteristics that do set this place apart.First, they openly accept visitors to the club. Many clubs are very closed minded about this, but not so here. Sure, you’ll have to pay a guest fee, but it was very reasonable.Second, I found the members here to be genuinely welcoming. I chose to utilize the club for some tennis and I felt immediately accepted by a group of members who have a standing weekly match. After just 2 hours together I felt like a part of the group and left with names and phone numbers for the next time that I visit Bend.Sure, you can come up with an excuse to not workout while in Bend, but that excuse can’t be that there’s no facilities that you have access to or there are no friendly people here to connect with. And that’s…Henry’s Take.#bendexcercise#bendtennis#bendgym

If I could give this place zero stars I would due to lack of respectful communication and customer service from the staff at the front desk. the only nice person there was probably a 16-year-old girl and she even look terrified of the man and woman standing next to her. Im not sure if it was our ages, how dressed down we were or what their issue was, but we were thrown snarky comments (even about the towels) FYI they "haven't had them in the locker room since covid" but covid is STILL a thing and they had them in the locker rooms 2 months ago? a day later we called to add someone on the family account and without even asking first or last name for the account, we were sternly told "only 2 adults can be on the account"....we weren't even calling about an adult. I hope they treat the kids that work there better than paying members and guests.
