When I brought my old pug Walnut to Healing Arts, he could neither walk nor stand. He couldn't even eat without help. We thought we were going to have to put him down. The good folks at Healing Arts collaborated with our regular vet on a treatment plan that involved both PT (including acupuncture) and medication. Walnut is still old and wobbly, he'll never be a gymnast, but he is back to walking, eating without assistance, and so on. The staff show him genuine care and affection every time we go in. The services these folks provide are a bargain, in my estimation.
Healing Arts Animal Care is an amazing environment. Our puppy broke the tip of his tibia and needed rehab after surgery. Bear fell in love with hydro therapy and the lick mat part of the process. Everyone is so caring and Dr, Mandi is just great. So, so pleased with our time spent there. I hope we never have to go again but won't be sad if we do. ?
My 14yo Keeshond suffered a sudden loss of function in three limbs. Our regular vet was medically able to control the pain, but Percival needed to get the neural pathways retrained to control his limbs. Healing Arts was able to perform that magic! In Percival’s case, laser therapy, water treadmill and at home exercises and walks were the program. Percival is now able to rest in complete comfort and walk with good control and ease. The regular vets are amazed at his recovery, as am I. The fee was quite reasonable for the initial 6 weeks. We are going to do some more!
