Healing Arts Animal Care is absolutely excellent. My dog, Saffron, is an older girl who had to have TPLO surgery earlier this year, and my hope is to avoid having to do the same surgery on her other leg. Dr. Bedsaul and the rest of the team were so caring and thorough with Saffron's care, and they dealt with her nervous behavior perfectly (some cheese sticks definitely helped calm Saffron's nerves). Over 6 weeks of physical therapy, laser sessions, and the underwater treadmill, Saffron has become much more mobile and active. I was also shocked just how well she did in the underwater treadmill.Even though Saffron has "graduated", I will likely bring her back for more laser therapy and pool sessions in the future, and I would definitely recommend Healing Arts to anyone with a pet who's struggling with mobility issues or has undergone orthopedic surgery. I now also have tons of exercises to keep Saffron strong and flexible with at-home care. They have an online portal to keep track of all the exercises they use during PT sessions, so it's easy to remember them and continue doing them at home. One thing to be aware of is that there is a long waitlist for initial appointments, but after the initial consultation, they were able to get subsequent PT appointments scheduled quickly.
I took my aging black lab here for the last 6 months of his life to get support managing his arthritis pain. He loved going in for his doggy workouts, and we both felt loved and cared for by Dr. Lyn and all of the wonderful team! The treatments did wonders for his strength, mobility, and comfort. My only regret is that we didn't start earlier (and, of course that sweet Mr. Gus couldn't just live forever).
My dog loves going to Healing Arts Animal Care. She adores every single staff member. & so do I! Every member is extremely knowledgeable & patient with my many questions & concerns. I feel grateful to have Dr. Mandi & her team as part of my pups care community. They have been phenomenal!
Our Australian Cattle Dog, River, went in with two issues. He had a bulging disc in his back, and he has a tender elbow issue. The treatment plan seems to have improved both dramatically, and we left (after two months of treatments) with hope that River should have a relatively normal life. The laser treatments, water treadmill and prescribed exercises seem to have improved and strengthened those problem areas. The cost can be a bit painful, but I do think it was a necessary cost to improve our dog’s quality of life. Perfect world I strongly recommend having pet insurance to cover this.
Wonderful staff, Dr. Mandy made an accurate diagnosis on visual exam. She referred us to vets in our state that could continue with follow up care. Measured our pup for a cart from Eddies Wheels and discussed other mobility options. Very kind, helpful people. 100% recommend!
My rottie and I love this place. I feel that my sweet girl is in good hands here and I definitely see improvement in her everyday activities despite the arthritis that was slowing her down. The staff is educated, caring and very patient. My rott does the under water treadmill and has laser treatments.
SO AMAZING! Our pup, Pepper, broke her leg at just 4 months old and when the cast came off there was more work to be done. Dr. Mandi, Amanda & the the team at Healing Arts took in our crazy, fun-loving, active girl with love, care & great skill! We appreciated the personalized care and the time they took to create a plan that was going to best bring her leg/hip back to full potential. We feel confident that she has a long, healthy life of running & playing ahead of her after her care.I didn't even know there was such a thing as a pet PT, nor did I ever wish to find out. However, when the need arose, I am so very thankful this is where we landed. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone in need!Thank you Healing Arts Animal Care!!

They took the time to make sure my dog was comfortable and would not rush her if she was nervous about something. Our weekly visits became the favorite part of my dog’s week.
