Based on customer reviews, Cats in the City - TANDEM Cat® Grooming provides a great experience. They do a great job giving old cats a lion's cut without picking them, which is no easy feat on fat, old cats. They got rid of all matting on a Persian cat's underside while making it look natural and de-shed the coat. The cat was a relaxed sleepy boy on the way home. The safety and comfort of the cats are the top priority. Cats absolutely love spa day. The TANDEM approach is trauma informed, allows breaks, and pays close attention to cat body language. Cats that are grumbly and squirm at home come back in greater spirits and smelling yummy. The level of detail is shocking, and the cats are always well behaved, showing they trust the staff. The staff is incredibly attentive and responsive and willing to work with anxious kitties. They work hard to deliver the best cuts and are honest and upfront about difficulties. The staff is friendly, always on time, and responds quickly. They care about the customer's time and love the cat just as much. Definitely worth the penny. The service is a little expensive but understandable because two people work on one cat at the same time. Highly recommended.
My three kitties were so happy during their stay! Here are some of the things I appreciated: -Daily email updates that put my mind at ease while traveling -Spacious rooms that offer plenty of stimulation, such as windows that provide views of birds and squirrels -Capable staff who had no problem administering asthma medication to my orange baby -Two sets of doors at the entrance, ensuring that cats don’t escape (the kitties take turns roaming the main area so they can get outside their rooms and have play time) -Aaron is a gem! He clearly loves cats and patiently answered my many questions Worth every penny, and I’ll be bringing back my fur babies many times in the future.
We have been taking our senior female cat to Cats In The City for grooming 2-3x/year for the past couple of years. For us, it has been worth the cost to keep her deshedded and mat-free. She feels better and keeping up with her fur has reduced her hairball issue. Staff is very thorough, kind and detail-oriented. The space is spotless and odor-free. Plenty of parking. We have never boarded our cat, but if we ever have to in the future, Cats In The City will be my first phone call.
First time boarding our very social outdoor cat. We were nervous! Every interaction I had with Cats In The City was great! We were gone 2 weeks and appreciated the daily email updates. We quickly realized we had nothing to worry about, except that our cat might not want to leave. So glad I found you. We knew our cat was well taken care of and safe. Thank you!!!!!!
