Had my first appointment - impressive COVID screening upon entry. The staff was very welcoming, right from reception to pre-tester, Ashley. From Dr Jessica to Erica helping pick out glasses. Thank you all for making my first visit a pleasant one
I just wanted to share my experience at Dr. Andreasen's office today. My youngest finds things like eye appointments incredibly challenging. At first, he wasn't cooperating well, but then Victoria came in. Oh my goodness. She's one of my new favourite people. She was SO good with my son and really worked with him. He still had a hard time but she took it on stride and was so patient with him. He responded better to her than most people he encounters. Then, Dr. Andreasen came in and she remembered working with him before and what tactics worked the best for him. She was awesome, as usual. My son is being evaluated to see where he falls on the autism spectrum next month, and days like today are very stressful on all of us right now while we figure out what works best. Thankfully, although today didn't go perfectly, it went so so much better than I expected. I love the team there and would highly recommend them to anyone.
We have been with Oxford Optometry for a few years. We left and followed our eye doctor that had left there but ended up coming back because my vision was never right when I had my glasses changed at the other place. I'm so glad I came back to to Oxford Optometry. They are friendly and know what they are doing.
