As a hip frax patient i dont recommend the service i received in Newfoundland from Atlantic ultima home care. Since April 17th my bed made twice despite 3 shifts per week, floors not cleaned there was visible dust after, despite instructions difficulty getting one meal prepared in relation to not understanding certain common foods. A worker left half hour into her shift no explanation of why and roamed the security building halls for 1 hour before leaving. Garbage piled up to such a level I had to hire a contractor to remove two weeks ago and again it is piled up 10 bags. Made 2 reports to Altima re a worker disregarded. PPE disposed on condo lawn. I had nurses come to my home for wound care and dressing changes over the past couple of months, and I can’t say enough good things about the care I received. They were always friendly, punctual, and professional, and they made me feel comfortable and at ease during every visit.

They clearly explained what they were doing, answered all of my questions, and took great care to keep everything clean and respectful in my home. Their support and guidance really helped my recovery, and I’m very grateful for the care they provided. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone who needs home care.
