I got the brakes done on my Hyundai Sonata — rotors and pads on all four wheels — and it’s been 3–4 months now. Everything is still running perfectly with no noise at all.
My previous mechanic used to charge me more but still installed cheaper parts, and the brakes would start making noise within 2–3 months. The difference this time is very noticeable.

I brought my Chevrolet Silverado to the dealership because it was having some issues. After leaving London 4 years ago and a 25 year relationship with a mechanic there (my husband is in the retail car biz) it was Stress City till a contact of my husband’s suggested Roy at Mel’s. This guy is a magician with cars, is so down to earth, sincere, and won’t steer you wrong or try to upsell you. He really recommends what’s best for YOU, not for him. We’ve been with Roy at Mel’s for about 3 years now, and I honestly can’t recommend him highly enough.
