DriveTest provides a smooth and efficient experience for its customers. The registration process is easy, and test instructors are punctual, polite, and professional. They offer helpful advice and create a comfortable atmosphere during the test. The employees at the counter are also great, providing amazing service and helping customers to get their experience added quickly. The receptionist should have been more helpful in guiding everyone to make things move quickly. However, the lady in the test room was very kind and welcoming. The examiners, such as Justin, are super patient and provide clear instructions, which helps customers feel confident and safe driving. Overall, DriveTest offers a positive experience, with examiners who are friendly, supportive, and fair. The experience may vary depending on the examiner assigned, but the testing environment is generally supportive and enjoyable, making it a great place to take your test and achieve success.
I had two completely different experiences on two consecutive days.
On my first visit, a blonde staff member was extremely kind and helpful. She patiently explained the process and even reminded us that the expiry date when booking a G2 online is easy to enter incorrectly, and kindly wrote down the correct date for us. Her attitude was professional and reassuring.
The next day, I was helped by a black-haired staff member whose attitude was the exact opposite, very cold and impatient. The service that we got is good but not exceptional. I came with my wife for taking her G1 test. I have been in canada for almost 8 years so i am very familiar with the Canadian dialect but my she is only been 1 month in Canada and is not familiar with the dialect and the person was not understanding .The dilemma she was facing she is good with the language but the dialect always confused and scared her. So if the employees who work here are more welcoming and pleasant it would be much appreciated. A standard beurocratic office that just tries hard not to do their job often asking for unnecessary documents or sending people to print things even if they have it on email or as soft copy.
Went to get my USA license exchanged and even after the standard runaround, they wanted to know where all in the world I had licenses and tried their best to get be a driving record from all the 4 countries I used to reside in even though I provided almost the last decade of driving experience from Michigan along with a current Michigan license.
Ultimately, got my task accomplished but a little bit of empathy and helpful mentality is appreciated
